A little background.....
My passion for foods and a lifelong desire to embrace the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship led to the creation of Maple Leaf Spices.
I launched the business in January 2004 with just a few mouth-watering "dip mixes", and from these small beginnings, the range of products grew to include "Cheese Balls", delicious "Nice & Easy Recipes", exotic "Spice Rubs", imaginative "Spice Grinder Blends" and the staples required in every kitchen "Traditional Spices".
In 2008 the wholesale market increased dramatically with stores all over Canada carrying Maple Leaf Spices. The goal for 2010 is to continue to expand to the US gourmet market. The rubs have been repackaged for the US market and our now called Bumba Zonke Rubs which means "Take the Lot" in Zambia were I used to live many moons ago. The labels are very trendy, colourful and fun! I'm very proud to say that some of the Wineries and Gourmet stores in the US are now carrying Bumba Zonke Spice Rubs.
A special thanks to all of my customers. I really do appreciate your business. Satisfying your taste buds is what inspires me to keep coming up with new and exciting recipes.
Thanks for telling your friends and sharing my dips and spices with everyone. I can't count the number of times someone has approached me at a show and said "I tried some of your product at a friend's house last night and I really loved it! I've just got to buy some!"
So browse my website, take a look at the ordering options and please contact me with any questions or requests.
